Who should attend?

Anyone who is responsible for creating a database or for amending an exiting database and has not attended the module ACC-03-01 Microsoft Access 2003 Introduction.

Pre-requisites

Attendees should be familiar with the concepts of tables, fields and records. They should also have experience of viewing and inputting data through the use of forms.

Objectives

To design single column and tabular forms that simplify the process of editing and viewing database information.

Course Content

Form Wizard

Create a basic form using the form wizard.

Form Design Window

Form design window components. Available toolbars.

Form Controls

Select, edit and move form elements and controls. Align form controls. Apply formatting to text controls. Control border styles. Add control objects using the Toolbox. Control properties. Control tab order.

Form Layout

Form Header and Footer. Display/hide scroll bars and navigation bar.
