Who should attend?
The module will suit all users who need to present numerical data graphically and need to generate diagrams using drawing tools.
Pre-requisites
No experience of using charts and drawing tools is required. Experience of laying out text slides and working with colour is preferred.
Objectives
You will learn how to: Present numerical data graphically. Draw diagrams using PowerPoint’s drawing tools and clipart library. Enhance your presentation using colour schemes. Copy slides between presentations.
Course Content
General
Open and view a presentation. Copy, move and delete slides.
Charting
Create a chart based on a custom layout in the Rio Tinto Library. Edit chart data. Work with different chart types.
Slide layouts
Understand the Rio Tinto the colour schemes. Copy slides between presentations.
Images and video
Insert photographic images from the Rio Tinto Brandbank. Resize and crop an image. Insert a map from the Rio Tinto library. Embed a video clip.
Draw tools and SmartArt
Explanation of lines, shapes and autoshapes available. Resize, move and copy objects. Position, align, layer and group objects. Fill colours and patterns. Add text to objects. Insert SmartArt.
