No experience of using charts and drawing tools is required.
Objectives
You will learn how to: Present numerical data graphically. Draw diagrams using Excel’s drawing tools and clipart library. Copy/link charts and diagrams to Word and PowerPoint.
Course Content
Charting
Create a chart. Edit chart data. Format axes, gridlines, legend, data labels. Work with different chart types.
Copy and link
Copy/link charts to Word documents and PowerPoint presentations.
Draw tools
Explanation of lines, shapes and autoshapes available. Resize, move and copy objects. Position, align, layer and group objects. Fill colours and patterns. Add text to objects.
SmartArt
Use the SmartArt tool to create quick but effective diagrams that can be easily manipulated.
